Trimming the Tree: a ba-humbug moment

So of course the next step, after we selected our beautiful tree, was to decorate and adorn the tree with lights, garland, and ornaments. This was one of those times that despite the best of intentions, things just really didn't go according to plan. Aside from the usual whining and complaining (not mentioning names here... *cough* *cough* Aaron) about the hassel of getting the tree trimmed, adjusted, and centered, we seemed to encounter several additional, especially grinchy moments....like having my hands break out in a rash from the millions of needle-like, well, needles, poking me as I tediously wrapped the tree in 1400 lights...and like having those 1400 lights blow a fuse, not once, but twice and having to start the tedious process all over....and like getting a family-wide outbreak of the stomach plague amid all of the tree-trimming fun. Anyways, suffice it to say, it was a "git 'r done" experience that we're all glad to have done.

If this picture had a caption, it would say, $%#@*$!!!"
