The Great Tree Quest

We kicked off our December-long month of festivities with a trip to the tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree. I'm just going to say it: It just wasn't the same. Live trees are hard to come by here in Utah. Whereas in Washington the entire state is overgrown with trees, we felt fortunate to find this small-ish tree farm near our town. No, it didn't have a train running through the farm, or a barn with piping hot chocolate inside...but, we made do. Although Aaron is still grumbling about our scrawny, cactus-like spruce, we had a great time tromping around the farm and finding the very best scrawny, cactus-like spruce we could find!

It kind of looks like we're hiking in the woods, high up in the mountains, huh? Not so much.

I promise. Oh yes, fun was had.
