With a Cherry on Top

The other night Liz and I got together and each canned 30 pounds of cherries! I had forgotten how much work is involved in canning, but I think there is something satisfying about the process, and the result makes it well worth it.

Way to go Courtney'! Those cherries will taste so good this winter with a homemade chocolate chip cookie on the side.

Ahhh ... I LOVE that someone else loves canned cherries!!! I don't know anyone else that has even tasted them! Fun stuff!

They look great! My mom and I canned some, too, last month. Sooo yummy. They are fantastic in smoothies, too!
