To celebrate Hanky's 3rd birthday, Hank's Nana and Poppa Grover and Nana and Poppa Z joined us for dinner at Red Robin.
Max chowed down on his first taste of french fry!
Since Hank isn't a cake-eater, I decided to make him a giant cookie instead. I know its not going to win any blue ribbons for beauty or creativity, but Hank liked it.
It took about five blows, but he blew out all the candles.
Hank is a lucky boy to have so many people that love him and wished him a happy birthday. Thank you to the Nanas and Poppas for celebrating with us and for the fun gifts!
For his birthday, Hank got a lifetime supply of trucks and tractors, a razor scooter, a yard tool set, a few Disney movies, 3D paint, and new pajamas. Score!
After dinner, we took Hank to see his very first movie, "Up." I really thought that with his short attention span he wouldn't make it through the previews, but Hank surprised me and watched the entire movie and loved every minute. Here we are sporting our sweet 3D glasses!
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006
