We didn't waste any time getting cracking on our Summer List and checked off our first item last Saturday: "watch a parade." Sometimes I think the small town parades are even more fun than the big city ones--you don't have to camp out all night to reserve your seats, there's nothing more down home than the local highschool band, and, best of all, at the small town parades they throw candy!
